Variable Names:  Variable names from this database have the prefix V1HVC. The data set has 396 families and 33 variables. Data were collected as part of the home visit of 14 month old twins. The variables include: Test Date, Birth Date, Bib Color (for twin 1 and twin 2), Height (for twin 1 and twin 2), Shoes (for twin 1 and twin 2), Bib Complaints (for twin 1 and twin 2), an evaluation of each of the 11 tests (Entry, Saliva, Restraint, Frustration, Prohibition, Bayley, Examiner Empathy, Teaching Task, Mother Empathy, Freeplay, and Co-op Play) administered (for twin 1 and twin 2),and a comment field.  NOTE: This data set was originally organized by FAMILY, not individual twin. Data has been split into two parts corresponding to the individual twins for merger with the individual twin-level file. Only variables identified as Twin 1 variables will be present in the Twin level data set (except for TWIN1ID & TWIN2ID).     Move there to move to the complete list of variable names from this database.

Cleaning:  The data have been examined to ensure that the values of the variables are within range. It was unclear if V1HVC2 and V1HVC13 were evaluating problems with taking samples of saliva or with putting on the bibs. Although Co-op Play (V1HVC11 and V1HVC22) was initially designed for this age, the test was not feasible, so all entries in these two variables are missing. Compatibility of the problem codes with the actual databases of each test will be examined.

Composites:  There are currently no composite variables defined from the Home Visit Rating procedure.
