The 2018 course will be an introductory workshop focusing on causes of variation; introduction to R programming; introduction to umx; path analysis and variance components; likelihood; matrix algebra; univariate twin analysis; biometrical genetics; categorical data; between group heterogeneity; continuous heterogeneity and G x E interaction; multivariate phenotypic factor and genetic analysis; developmental models; extended twin designs; power analysis; GCTA; direction of causation and Mendelian randomization; and responsible conduct of research.

Single and double rooms are <fc #FF0000>$170</fc>, plus 12.485% tax. There are a limited number of rooms at this price, so reserve early. A credit card will be needed at check-in to cover any incidental room charges. If no services are charged to the room (restaurant, bar, etc.) then the credit card will not be charged.

==== Air ====
The closest airport to Boulder is [[http://flydenver.com|Denver International Airport (DEN)]], which is approximately 45 miles from Boulder.

If you do not live near a hub airport, your best option for getting a non-stop flight to Denver is on [[http://www.united.com/|United]], [[http://www.frontierairlines.com/|Frontier]], or [[http://southwest.com/|Southwest airlines]].

==== Ground Transportation ====
There are [[http://www.flydenver.com/parking_transit|several options]] to get to Boulder from the airport:

  * [[http://www.rtd-denver.com/|RTD Bus service]], [[http://www.rtd-denver.com/skyride.shtml|Skyride]] [[http://www3.rtd-denver.com//schedules/getSchedule.action?routeType=9&routeId=AB|AB1 Bus]] is $9 (cash only) each way. Optionally, a $9 day pass can be purchased if you plan to make additional bus trips in Boulder. Use the AB1 bus, as it terminates at the Boulder Downtown Station, which is less than five blocks from the St. Julien. There is a train from the airport called //University of Colorado A Line//, but it does <fc #FF0000>NOT</fc> go to Boulder. It only goes to downtown Denver. Do not take it if you want to go directly to Boulder. 
  * [[http://greenrideboulder.com/|Green Ride Boulder]] is $34 each way to the hotel.
  * [[https://www.supershuttle.com/|Super Shuttle]] is $84 one way. Go to the ticket counter in DIA between 7am and 9:30pm.

  * [[http://www.flydenver.com/parking_transit/car-rentals|Car rentals]] are available at the airport.
  * Ride hailing services such as [[https://www.lyft.com/airports/den|Lyft]] and [[https://www.uber.com/airports/den/|Uber]] are available. Prices range from "less than $50" to $175.

Linked are driving directions for taking the [[https://goo.gl/maps/rypSCmqCPTP2|E-470 Tollway]] ($8), or [[https://goo.gl/maps/URycDWMH9Zv|I-70]] from the airport to the hotel. The tollroad is quicker and has less traffic than I-70.  Most rental car companies have toll passes in their rental cars so toll charges will be paid through the rental agencies, often with a significant surcharge.
