The closest airport to Boulder is [[http://flydenver.com|Denver International Airport (DEN)]], which is approximately 45 miles from Boulder.
If you do not live near a hub airport, your best option for getting a non-stop flight to Denver is on [[http://www.united.com/|United]], [[http://www.frontierairlines.com/|Frontier]], or [[http://southwest.com/|Southwest airlines]].
==== Ground Transportation ====

There is a train from the airport called //University of Colorado A Line//, but it does NOT go to Boulder. It only goes to downtown Denver. Do not take it if you want to go directly to Boulder.

The tollroad is quicker and has less traffic than I-70. Most rental car companies have toll passes in their rental cars so toll charges will be paid through the rental agencies.
