New Follow Up Interview

A new in person interview has recently been funded that will allow us to follow up with some of our oldest participants (30 and older). This interview is composed of several elements that may seem familiar, as these assessments have been used in prior interviews. Additionally, the questionnaires have been migrated online, so the in person session is not as long as previous ones (usually 2 1/2 hours in the morning, and 1 1/2 hours after lunch).

The aim of this study is to continue studying factors that contribute to our behaviors and attitudes as we age. We will look at intelligence, environment, genetics and many other attributes that define our lives. By comparing your answers on these interviews to past ones, we can begin to see the factors that contribute to stability and to change as individuals age.

Your continued participation is much appreciated as we embark on this project. Studies of this length and magnitude are extrememely rare. In fact, this project is one of the longest running adoption studies in North America. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
