There is now a How To, documenting the steps to analyze data with QMS2. The latest version of the How To is always available at http://qms2.sourceforge.net/ in multipage, single page, and text formats.

The software on this page is released under a modified version of the BSD License.

The program described here consists of three parts.

The first, pre-sas.sh, is a bash script which uses grep, expand, and sed to remove the tabs and commas from a GENEHUNTER ibd dump file.
The second, ghimport.sas is the SAS software macro which imports GENEHUNTER data and prepares it for analysis.
The third piece, qms2.sas, performs the actual QTL analysis.
The files can be downloaded from the Sourceforge summary page for qms2.
